Capturing a smile and a look into the camera is super challenging for family and friends of people with autism. I know because I’ve worked for years to get pictures of my son. One of the best things that has happened as a result of learning to be a portrait photographer is that I can finally get some nice pictures of Jon.
Taking him to a photo studio was never a very comfortable option for me. What if he had a meltdown? What if I spent all that money and he was uncooperative? What if…? What if…?
Trust me when I tell you that I have seen it all. Nothing your loved one does could shock me...I want you to have beautiful photos of the beautiful person that hides behind the mask of autism, and I will patiently follow them around until I get them, even if it takes more time than a typical photo session.
So, I’m offering portrait sessions for people with autism at reduced rates:
- Individual session: 50% discount from current session prices.
- Family sessions that include a family member with autism: 25% discount from current session prices.
Thank you Polly! I never dreamed that anyone could capture Jeremy’s sweet little soul in pictures, let alone wait for those few smiles of his! You are awesome!
