Mountain Wedding

A little over a week ago, this sweet couple were married at the lovely Summit Farm Weddings in Ellijay, GA.  It was overcast much of the day, as the remnants of a hurricane were approaching, but thankfully the rain held off until the very end of the reception.  The clouds gave us wonderful temperatures for a perfect outdoor wedding!

I keep saying I don’t do weddings.  I seriously try to avoid the at all costs because I don’t want the stress of trying to capture perfectly the most important of days.  I work alone, with no 2nd photographer, and I am mostly geared up for natural light portraits.

So when Hailey’s mom asked me to be their photographer, I cringed…but I had photographed Hailey’s siblings for their senior pictures, and then I took photos for her engagement to Brandon.  I felt like if there was a wedding I would be up for, it would be this one.  Finally the day came and I was kinda terrified! Ha!

But this family is so fun, and so easy going, that everything went well and as you can see, we got some gorgeous photos.  There’s too may to show here, but all I can say is WOW.  It was a recipe for perfection!
