Grandma in these photos is my friend. We really couldn’t be much more different. We come from different places and different backgrounds. We are different ages, and have had different experiences. We are different by the standards of this world in which we live.
But, we are one in the Holy Spirit. We are daughters of the Most High. We love Jesus with our whole hearts.
We are family.
So, when I had the opportunity to meet and spend a little time with my friend’s daughter and grandsons who were visiting from out of state, I couldn’t wait. These people are such an important part of my friend’s life – which makes them important to me, too.
In this new year, let’s look for how we are the same, and not how we are different. Let’s focus on what is important. Let’s draw together and be unified. Together we can change the world ✞
